ONE SENTENCE

please-explain_1-450x337Quick post today. In fact, all of you worship leaders out there are gonna’ help me write it.

A lot of us struggle with ways to clearly explain what it is that we do in our churches.

If you had to describe worship in one sentence, what would you say?

Comment below with your answer. (And if you know other worship leaders, pass it their way. Let’s see how many “one sentences” we can get!)

  1. Jonathan Benedetti

Worship is the expression of praise, honor, thanksgiving and adoration to God, for who he is and what he has done, proclaiming his greatness, goodness, holiness and steadfast love, for his glory and his pleasure, in spirit and truth, with reverence and awe, both as an individual who has been reconciled to God through the blood of Jesus, and as a member of the covenant community of faith; and furthermore, it is the continual offering up of one’s entire being as a living sacrifice to God, in love, humility and obedience.
